A witch ball is a container spell that originated in the early 17th century when European villagers would hang them in the windows to keep away evil spirits, dark magick and ill fortune. Like all things, witch balls have evolved and today they are still used for home protection and home blessings but can also be used for love, money, happiness, healing, success, to increase psychic awareness and any and everything you can possibly think of. Having nightmares? Hang one over your bed to trap the negative energy before it enters your sleep. The idea is that the negative energy and bad spirits become mesmerized in the sheer beauty of the bauble and not being able to resist the strong magick become ensnared and entrapped therein leaving you and your loved ones in peace and tranquility. Recharge your ball under the light of the moon when you sense the energy should be replenished. The beauty of the witch ball is in fact it's beauty and its simplicity. This is a cleverly disguised spell that simply looks like an innocent addition to your room decor. In actuality, it is a powerful tool one that from it constantly and consistently flows magick allowing you to fill your space with strong intention and pure purpose. Each one that I make is unique and beautiful. My intention and purpose are that it attracts the one person that it was meant for and that once you receive it that it fills your life with that which you need and desire most. Inside each ball I place a variation of some of the following: natural herbs, dried flowers, crystals, sand, glitter, beads, glass and or charms. In every ball I place my powerful intent. I always place crystals on the top in order to not only seal the ball but to add another layer of energy. Each round-shaped ball that I make is 2 5/8 inches in diameter and made of high-quality sturdy scratch resistant plastic materials. At one time I would only use glass when making my spells, but the fragile material would only allow for very delicate substances to be placed inside and I love putting crystals and other heavier objects that too easily shatter the very fragile glass. I find the plastic to be far more resilient, longer lasting and equally as beautiful as glass and it is after all only the vessel. The real magick comes from me. And from you.
